Before Contacting Support

Before contacting support, please see the frequently-asked questions, and follow the basic steps in the troubleshooting guides. The support staff will require several pieces of information found in the troubleshooting process in order to help you. Please include the following information when contacting support.

Technical information:

• One or more of the following forms of identification:
  • Site ID for Hughes DirecWay systems, example: SVSG000000
  • TAP ID for Tachyon systems, example: TAP 000
  • Gateway IP address (IP address of the IDU)
  • Serial number of the IDU (for DW4020, use the serial of the IRU)
• The point in the troubleshooting guide where you found a problem, and the answers to the questions there.

Personal information:

• Your full name, and if military, your rank and unit
• Where the VSAT is located (nearest city, and if military, the camp name)
• Phone numbers where we can reach you
• All email addresses you'd like us to reply to

To report a problem or request support, please contact support@iraq-sat.net. Please follow the steps above, include as much information as possible, and place your Site ID in the subject line. If you do not include enough identifying information, we will reply to you to ask for it. The more information you give us, the faster we can solve your problem!
