Tachyon's broadband satellite infrastructure provides standards-compliant Internet Protocol conectivity to meet the needs of large enterprise, small/medium enterprise, and small office-home office networks. Tachyon's patented signal processing technology delivers the performance of terrestrial lines at high speed data rates (up to 2Mbps) to deliver network access to locations and regions not reachable by traditional service providers.

Applications running on the customer headquarters server and local area network (LAN) connect with your remote locations through an Internet backbone and Tachyon's Gateway. The Gateway communicates with Tachyon's Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) over commercial Ku-band satellite transponders. The CPE is your remote connection to Tachyon's high-speed network. The CPE includes a 1.2m satellite dish with integrated transmit / receive electronics and Indoor Unit. The Indoor Unit connects to your remote LAN equipment via 10/100 BaseT Ethernet interface.

The CPE has been designed to support all tiers of network service, so you do not need to purchase new equipment as network traffic grows. Your bandwidth can be increased by simply contacting your provider.

Tachyon's optional VPN Accelerator hardware enables industry-standard IPSec encryption for companies needing the highest level of security. Tachyon's solution includes an accelerator that enables end-to-end encryption with the performance of terrestrial lines.

Enterprise Service

Tachyon Networks offers the award-winning Tachyon Enterprise service for the medium to large business. Using a proprietary priority-based sharing system, Tachyon Enterprise provides near-dedicated capacity speeds and reliability at a fraction of the cost.

Express Service

Tachyon Express, the latest offering from Tachyon Networks, is perfect for the Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) user. Express service uses a different Monthly Volume Transfer (MVT) system from Enterprise, which allows the customer to purchase additional blocks of data for months of high usage.
